What your donation provides is more than housing—it’s a lifeline that helps individuals stabilize, rebuild, and rediscover what’s possible.

Helping Hands Extended

OUR MISSION

Healing | Housing | Hope

The Circle Road Foundation believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future. For individuals leaving incarceration, detox, or addiction treatment, that opportunity often depends on having the right support at the right time.

We help people move from crisis to stability through:

  • Housing scholarships that provide safe, supportive living environments

  • Employment support that promotes independence and self-sufficiency

  • Mental health and addiction recovery resources that strengthen long-term success

More than assistance, we provide structure, accountability, and hope. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we partner with donors and community members who believe that people can heal, rebuild, and create meaningful lives when given the opportunity to do so.

We are grateful for your willingness to support this mission!

OUR ABOUT

The Circle Road Foundation is made up of men and women who are in recovery or have had to live with the pain of watching a loved one struggle with the disease of addiction. Drug and alcohol addiction know no boundaries. Everyone has been affected by its reach one way or another, and even with billions of dollars spent each year, the addiction and mental health disorders remain rampant. However, with strategic support and a desire for change, individuals committed to transforming their lives can put these diseases in remission.

OUR PROGRAM

The Circle Road Foundation's Live Better Program helps individuals transitioning from incarceration, medical detox, or residential addiction treatment who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and facing mental health or substance use challenges. Through supportive housing, treatment resources, employment support, and a structured environment that balances accountability with compassion, participants gain the skills, stability, and confidence needed to rebuild their lives. By fostering recovery, personal responsibility, community connection, and meaningful employment, the program helps individuals achieve lasting independence, financial self-sufficiency, and renewed hope for the future.

THE FACTS

  • Homelessness in the United States has reached the highest level ever recorded, with more than 771,000 people experiencing homelessness on a single night in 2024—an 18% increase in just one year.

  • Nearly 48.4 million Americans aged 12 or older experienced a substance use disorder in the past year, highlighting the urgent need for accessible treatment and long-term recovery support.

  • Despite the widespread impact of addiction, only about 1 in 5 people who need treatment for substance use disorders receive it.

  • Stable housing is widely recognized as a critical component of recovery, playing a central role in helping individuals with substance use and mental health disorders achieve long-term stability.

HELP SOMEONE TODAY

Founded in late 2020, the Circle Road Foundation’s Live Better Program was created to bridge the housing gap for individuals transitioning from incarceration, medical detox, or residential addiction treatment. By providing short-term housing assistance and employment support, the program reduces the barriers that too often lead to relapse and recidivism.

Since its inception, participation has grown more than 25% year over year, while employment outcomes have improved and substance use among participants has continued to decline. Research consistently shows that stable housing and meaningful work are two of the most powerful predictors of long-term recovery. By restoring access to both, the Circle Road Foundation helps individuals rebuild self-sufficiency, confidence, and purpose—essential ingredients for a life free from drugs and alcohol and filled with opportunity.
